The agreement
By creating an account, joining a classroom or paying for a plan you agree to these terms, our privacy policy, acceptable use policy and refund policy. If you accept on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your password private.
- Teachers are responsible for everything that happens in the classrooms they create, including who they share join codes with.
- Students may join with a code and email without a password. Students under 18 use Clique under the supervision of their school, teacher or parent.
- Tell us promptly at info@kweb.name.ng if you suspect your account has been accessed without permission.
Plans and payment
- The Starter plan is free with the limits shown on the pricing page. We will give at least 30 days' notice before reducing what it includes.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, in naira. Prices exclude VAT where applicable.
- Monthly plans paid by card renew automatically until cancelled. Transfer payments do not auto-renew.
- If a payment is not received, the account moves to the Starter plan. Your data is not deleted.
- We may change prices with 30 days' notice. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Your content
You own the lessons, whiteboards, questions, notes and files you create or upload. You give us permission to store, display and transmit them only as needed to run Clique for you. We do not use your content to train AI models. You are responsible for having the right to share anything you upload.
AI-generated material
AI tools can produce errors. Review generated questions, notes and schemes of work before using them with students. You are responsible for material you publish to your class.
Availability
We aim to keep Clique available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We schedule maintenance outside school hours where possible and announce it in advance. Institution plans may include a separate service agreement with defined response times.
Suspension and closing accounts
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches the acceptable use policy, fails to pay, or puts other users at risk. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.
Liability
Clique is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Kaypixel Web Service is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data you could reasonably have exported, or losses caused by events outside our control such as power, network or provider outages. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We will try to resolve any dispute informally first; if that fails, the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We will notify account holders by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continuing to use Clique after that date means you accept the updated terms.
